Combo Classes

Combo 1- Dancers ages 3-5 will have the opportunity to explore the beginning fundamentals with ballet, and jazz. They will perform all three styles at our recital!

Combo 2- Dancers ages 6-10 will have the opportunity to dive deeper into ballet, and jazz. They will receive more creative freedom and challenging choreography. 

Combo 3- Dancers ages 11-13 will have the opportunity to explore the creative fundamentals with lyrical, and jazz. They will perform all three styles at our recital!

Combo 4- Dancers ages 14+ will have the opportunity to dive deeper into lyrical, and jazz. They will receive more creative freedom and challenging chorography. 

Cheerleading- A great team activity in which elements of dance and acrobatics are combined. It​  is a whole body workout. You will build strength by rehearsing weekly, particularly in your lower body, shoulders and core.

Tumbling (Acro)- Students learn strength, power, and agility through repetition of skills. Tumbling students focus on cardio warm up, stretching, and building strong muscles. Tumbling skills include handsprings, round offs, and series of skills performed in a sequence usually with a running preparation.

Adult Classes- Dancers ages 19+ recreational classes.  We are offering Hip Hop, Tap, and heals classes.

Ballet- Developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body (epaulement), and use of arms (port de bras).  This class requires pink cloth ballet shoes, pink tights, and black leotard. 

Point/ Pre-Pointthe part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet. This class requires point shoes or pre-point shoes, pink tights, and black leotard. 

Jazz- Strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps. In a Jazz class the dancers also learn many fun and trendy dance steps that are used for all forms of dance. This Class requires pirouette shoes, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Musical Theater- This class introduces students to the songs of Broadway Musicals. Classes consist of a brief warm-up, learning the repertoire of Broadway show tunes, acting and staging techniques. This course is devoted to the enjoyment of musical theatre and an appreciation for Broadway musical productions. This Class requires pirouette shoes, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

ModernModern class will incorporate many of the foundations of modern dance technique, including suspension and release, fall and recovery, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement. Dancers will explore new ways of moving in combinations, floor work and partnering, and also in various methods of improvisation. This Class requires bare feet, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Hip Hop- Hip hop dance is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking. Boys Hip Hop is offered to ages 3-18. This Class requires sneakers, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Choreography- Choreography classes allow students to go behind the scenes and become teacher, dancer, visionary, creator, collaborator, and director. Students apply their own skills and knowledge of different styles of dance to create pieces that they perform for each other's work. This Class requires bare feet, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Lyrical- Combines elements of ballet and jazz to create a soft style that emphasizes the storytelling quality of music.  An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement. This Class requires pirouette shoes, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Contemporary- Contemporary dance encourages dancers to be versatile in their expressions, being able to portray a wide array of movement styles and emotion. It focuses on specials and body awareness, use of body weight, floor work, leaps, turns, efficiency of muscle usage, and safe body alignment. This Class requires pirouette shoes, leggings/ athletic shorts, or any athletic top.

Improvthe process of creating movement without pre-planning any steps or choreography. Free movement is a great way to have fun, relieve any stress and explore new ways to move and the best part is there are absolutely no rules!

TapIn tap dance class, you'll be training your musical ear as well as your body. Tap dancers use the metal taps on the toes and heels of their shoes to produce an endless variety of sounds and rhythms that differ in dynamics and even pitch.
